CO₂ laser systems are designed to mark workpieces consisting of organic and inorganic materials. The variety of materials ranges from plastics, films, laminates, glass, rubber, ceramics and metals coated with plastics to textiles, wood, paperboard and paper. In addition to marking, the CO₂ laser is also designed to cut materials (e.g. plastic, wood, films, paperboard, paper).
